ELT (Chapter 4: The First Night And His Life In The World)

After leave the lounge, Elliot and Acken went into an unused room that has neither furniture nor any decorative item. There was only a window in the room that faced north. The boys sat next to each other under the window. It’s finally 9.20 pm. Elliot started to feel uneasy looking at the empty street. It is finally the time. The street at south begun to crowd with people which was heading toward the castle. There were two groups of people in the street. “The south group of people are from our tribe and the nouth is known as The North Pack”, the steady looking boy finally broke the silence after they entered the room. Not far than a mile from the castle, something captured Elliot’s eyes. A man from north group who holding an axe and walked closer to the south group. “What is he…” The man raised his hand with the axe in his hand and chop down a HUMAN’S HEAD.  Elliot drew his eyes away from the windows. Elliot began to talk to Acken after a moment of silence. Through their conversation, Elliot discovered that the tribe ELT was known as the most intelligent tribe in the world because they invented 212. Elliot found out that the chief was the only one who had the key for him to know the identity of the man who sent him travel through time. The war ended at 12 midnight. That was the Elliot’s first night in the world ELT.

After a few weeks of tranquil life under the surveillance of Acken , Elliot begun to get used to the world ELT. He was acquainted with a few people including Acken, Nomy, which was a farmer and a trader called Zoick. Their world in the day was just as simple as the ancient century in his previous world. Most of the people living there were farmers. Compared to smith, farmer had higher social status as they produced livestock which allowed the people in world ELT to get through winter. In the day, the farmers raised livestock and planted crops. There was a market near the tribe ELT’s castle. Weapons, clothes, containers and foods were sold there. Elliot had the liberty to do whatever he wants before 212. The falling of dusk brought the freedom of Elliot to the end and marked the beginning of cruelness.
Everything was still the same since Elliot came to this world. He went outside the castle loitering around the market and went to the lush-green meadow for a long walk. Sometimes, he helped the farmers to do their work in prairie. Someday, he just lay still on the field and stared at the blue sky. No schooling, no homework and no mother nagging. It wasn’t that bad to live here as long as it isn’t during 212. In the night, he stayed in the room with Acken. Acken always sat near to the window while Elliot always sats far away from the window. Sometime they talked and sometimes they don’t. But his life was starting to twist again on that night.
